Amish Blessings Cabins

We stayed in the Homestead cabin for one night and liked the quiet setting and the rocking chair upstairs. There’s outdoor seating on both porch levels, and the living room has a small TV, though there aren’t any in the bedrooms. The cabin is spacious and reasonably comfortable, but all of us found the mattresses too hard. The kitchen has a decent supply of cookware, dishes, and utensils. We didn’t cook during our short stay, and the cookies waiting for us were a nice surprise. The upstairs bathroom is large, with a jacuzzi roomy enough for two. One jet is very loud, and the floor around and beneath the tub creaked and cracked after we used it, even after we’d left the room. Bring your own toiletries. The upstairs bathroom had a bar of soap, while downstairs there was only a bottle of thin hand soap. Our daughter showered downstairs without soap, shampoo, or conditioner.

We’ll definitely come back. The cabin was quiet and peaceful, with a lovely view of the countryside from the upper balcony. It was clean, the service was friendly, and Berlin is less than a mile away. For a summer stay in Amish Country, this was the best cabin price I’ve paid. A great deal.

We’ve stayed here several times and keep coming back for the spot just outside Berlin. Using both floors gives us a large cabin, and having three bathrooms is really convenient. The place is clean and comfortable throughout, with beautiful decor.
