Apple Bin Inn

We stayed in the Empire Room at this historic bed and breakfast dating back to the 1800s. The room was clean and a nice size, and there was private parking.

I loved sitting on the Empire Room's private balcony, watching the magnolia trees get ready to bloom. The bed and bedding were comfortable, and Eric was very friendly. He joined us for breakfast and shared some local history. His wife and daughters were pleasant and always smiling. The inn is charming, the hosts are accommodating, and they keep everything immaculate. There was also some history in the guest book in our room. Room-darkening curtains or shades would have helped, since the sunrise made the room bright. We could hear traffic because the inn is right on the street, though that's not the hosts' fault and wouldn't stop us coming back. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The cottage was adorable, decorated with apples and Pennsylvania Dutch touches, and even smelled like delicious apples. We loved it. Eric and his family were wonderful hosts, and the breakfasts were amazing. One evening we even enjoyed a cozy fire outside. We'll definitely come back to this charming Bed & Breakfast.

We chose the McIntosh Room for our first wedding anniversary weekend and a trip to see Lancaster County. The whole stay felt warm and comfortable, like being at home away from home. Our hosts were kind, attentive to our requests, and knew plenty about places to visit. The room was clean, and the thoughtful design and decorating helped make it special. The grounds were beautiful, tucked into a little nook that made us want to take photos. Breakfasts were delicious and creative. My wife liked them so much she asked for the recipes to make at home. We have nothing negative to add. We had a wonderful anniversary and would highly recommend the Apple Bin Inn to anyone wanting a comfortable home away from home. We'll be back.
