Comfort Inn & Suites Lancaster Antelope Valley

We'd prepaid, but when we arrived they said the hotel was booked and that our room had been given to someone else. The woman at the front desk was awful to deal with. One of the worst hotel stays I've had. I wouldn't stay here.

The hotel itself is lovely, but what happened with the staff and my money was awful. They refused my Cap One and Chime debit cards, took the money from my bank, and assured me I'd get it back. Then they claimed I had soiled the bed and charged me $200 for washing towels. I'm in a wheelchair, and I felt they were discriminating against me. I believe the bed accusation was a lie, and the towel charge was the last straw. The staff were scandalously rude. There are serious ADA violations coming their way, along with legal drama.

The room had a small fridge and microwave, the heat and AC worked well, and it was very affordable. I felt safe enough, though the door locks could be more secure. It seemed relatively clean, with nothing visible to the naked eye. My dog was able to stay with me, which I really appreciated. But the place reeked of marijuana and tobacco smoke everywhere. During my one-night stay, I could tell which rooms on my floor it was coming from. I have zero tolerance for having to breathe other people's drug addictions. The room could also use more coffee and those little single-serve creamer and sugar packets.

Jadien, Cynthia and Daniel are the most AMAZING staff I've ever seen. I can't say enough about them. Customer service was 10/10, and I'll tell my friends and family to stay here if they visit Edwards.
