Rodeway Inn

We arrived very late, and when I turned back the sheets in our room, someone had urinated in the bed. I’m a Housekeeper, so I know the difference between washed sheets with urine stains and actual urine. They moved us to another room, where my son got bitten twice in bed. I’m assuming it was fleas. I’d booked because I don’t see well at night, but we ended up driving two hours home in the dark. Totally disgusting. Don’t stay here.

Today, the front desk woman called Anjali, who said to call her angel, was a devil, not an angel. She seemed to hold a grudge against us, was rude and disrespectful to me and my husband, and refused to give us the room, cancelling our reservation herself. The staff are very unprofessional, and the facility is filthy. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It feels very unsafe, and neither you nor your belongings are safe. I wish I could give it zero stars and will never go back. This was my third time on the property. On my second visit, in May 2024, we booked two rooms. The upstairs was filthy, with poop all over the floor, but we had no choice and stayed the night. I wish I’d taken pictures. Staff also entered our room with a master key without permission, and nobody apologized.

Even with the heat set to 86°, the room was very cold and uncomfortable. I usually like to sleep in a cool room, around 65-68°, but this was too much. The sheets and blanket were both extremely thin, like one and two ply paper. I asked for two blankets and could only get one. There was a ring in the tub, and the drain needs cleaning. Standing water in the tub is unpleasant.

The bathroom had a cockroach, and the room wasn’t cleaned very well. I knew it was a two-star hotel when I booked, so it was about what I expected. The Jacuzzi tub in the room was an extra, fun surprise.
