I’ve been coming here since the hotel was built, usually when my trucking company down the street has my truck in the shop. Since the new owners and management took over, the service has gone downhill badly. Melody is the only good desk person left. She listens and cares, while the others don’t seem to pay attention or show much concern. It feels like the good service staff were replaced with family members who don’t listen. My company covers incidentals and taxes, so I should only need to show ID. I’ve shown the front desk the email confirming payment, but most of them refuse to look and insist I pay. Melody actually checks it and sees the company has paid. As a result, $150 gets held on my card even though it was already covered in the reservation, and it takes three business days to come off. That also means I can’t order DoorDash while the money is tied up. The cook also stares at you like you’re stealing. When I asked housekeeping for a towel, he ran out of his room to ask what room I was in, even though the housekeeper already knew. The service is terrible now, apart from Melody, and I’m tired of them refusing to even check the email.

I canceled a reservation for the following week and won’t spend another dime here. On my first stay, I had to change rooms because the first one had no blackout curtain. The second room’s AC made such a loud noise that I couldn’t hear the TV. Its microwave turntable was missing, too. Room service changed the sheets, but the sheets and comforters were stained. The rooms are mediocre at best, with walls that need paint and no crisp white sheets. Staff were only okay and didn’t pay attention to guests’ needs. Booking through a third party also means you can’t earn points, and their system is awful. I wanted to extend my stay, but... An update: this place is the pits. The laundry machines don’t work properly and had no water. Breakfast is policed, staff don’t know what they’re doing, and there’s no manager or owner on site. Staff were rude and unfriendly.

My first room had no curtains. They moved me, but the AC in the second room didn’t work, so I had no heat. The water pressure was low, and I had to let it run for a while before it got hot. The front desk staff don’t seem to know what’s going on at the hotel or how hotel operations work. At breakfast, the attendant watched and monitored us as if we might steal something, even though breakfast is free. I’m still waiting for a call from the manager. Don’t stay here.

I booked this room to get some quiet and rest while recovering from surgery, and it was a horrible decision. After a nap on the first day, I woke with welts on my shoulder. The next day my legs were itchy, and on the second night I woke with a rash across my chest, stomach, and incisions. I found out it was from bed bugs. I asked the front desk for a manager. She said he wasn’t coming, and that maintenance would come, but nobody ever did. I asked for my money back and still haven’t gotten anything. Stay away from here!
