Travelodge by Wyndham Lansing IL

There was fresh blood splattered on the tub, which also had several burn marks. It looked old and smelled that way too. The towels had old, dried blood on them. My guy said we'd never come back, so I didn't take pictures or make a scene, but we won't return. They don't clean well, and I'd never recommend it.

The first room had lots of baby roaches, so I slept in my car. Staff asked me not to sleep there and moved me to another room. Two days later, I found another roach in that room. Just so you know.

I've stayed here while looking for an apartment and never had a problem. For $60, these rooms are clean, and the atmosphere is fine. The staff are always nice, especially the cleaning crew.

The smoking rooms were really dirty and smelled awful, with stained sheets and a tub that was dirty and covered in burn marks. The no-smoking rooms are all upstairs, and the difference between the two types of rooms is like night and day. I will say they fixed the issue and moved me to a better room....
