Super 8 Motel - Lansing

The only thing going for this place was being close to shops and restaurants. I stayed one night at Super Inn Lansing in October 2025, and it was one of my worst hotel experiences. The room was around 40° like it was outside because the heater didn't work. I said I didn't want to pay full price for a freezing room, so staff moved me, but the next room had the same problems. The bedding had brown stains, there were crumbs on the beds and floor, hair in the shower, and bugs flying around. The TV didn't work, paint was peeling, and the walls were stained. There were only two towels in a room meant for four, no soap, and no security lock on the door. None of the staff spoke English, so it was basically impossible to get help. You could hear everything in the hallway and from the highway outside, the place isn't soundproof. It's tucked behind a Bob Evans in a sketchy area, and I didn't feel safe. The price felt far too high for the state of the rooms and the lack of comfort. I seriously thought about leaving early. It doesn't meet basic standards, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The person at the front desk was nice when we arrived, but the room had roaches and bed bugs. When we reported the bed bugs, they were going to move us to another room, then told us we needed to leave tomorrow. The shower barely worked, the plastic trim around the bathroom floor was peeling away from the wall, and the shower curtain had mold on it. Don't stay here.

I work on the road and this is the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in. I rented three rooms for my employees, and they were all the same: dirty bedding, bugs between and on the bedding, blood on the floor, and what might have been puke on the walls and window blind. Somebody needs to call the health department. The front desk employees were extremely rude when we asked for fresh bedding and refused to give us any. I didn't even want to give this place one star.

We walked in and left ten minutes later because the room was so gross. The bed was covered in stains, and when I asked the front desk guy for clean blankets, he laughed and said no. The shower curtain was stained red all over. The door looked like it had been kicked in a few times and didn't have a deadbolt lock.
