Family Garden Inn & Suites

We were in Laredo for the WBCA (George Washington parade), and the staff were amazing. Our single bed room wasn’t going to be ready for another hour and a half, so they upgraded us for free to a double queen room. It was clean, spacious, and tranquil. We enjoyed the free happy hour with a little popcorn and a nice view of the property. Even though we were right beside interstate 35, it felt like we were miles from the highway.

I stayed here last year for my daughter’s volleyball tournament at United H.S. The rooms were being remodeled, and ours was really nice. We slept great, and they even served beers, popcorn, and hotdogs in the evening. I wasn’t expecting much because of the price and how small the place was, but I was pleasantly surprised. I stayed because of the positive reviews, and I never leave reviews, so that says something. I’ll be back this weekend for a soccer tournament if they have a room.

For us, this is the best hotel in Laredo, Texas. I travel to Laredo every other weekend and have been doing that for four years, staying at places from $75 to over $300 a night. In my opinion, this one is the cleanest, and they hire friendly staff who are geared toward families. We love it here. To all the staff, thanks for always making us feel welcome, from the Avalos family, Alessandro, Maximiliano, and dad.

We come here often, and it’s peaceful and serene. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the grilled food at the gazebo is delicious. Several restaurants and a Walmart are also within walking distance if you need them.
