The hotel has at least three pools, one of them heated, and the rooms are spacious with a fridge and microwave. I was there for the Laredo Bird Festival from February 4 to February 8th and had an excellent stay. The hotel provided an early buffet breakfast for festival guests with pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, coffee, and orange juice. There was also a buffet breakfast from 6:30 a.m. for guests not attending the festival. I flew in through Laredo Airport, about a 15-minute drive away, and appreciated the convenient free pickup and drop-off shuttle.

I can't decide if I'd stay here again. The hotel has some charm, and most of the food was decent, but the restaurant service was painfully slow even though we were the only people there. The rooms are large but dated, especially the carpet, and the desk chair needed replacing. The pillows were so uncomfortable that I left after two nights with a sore neck.

Karina, the manager at La Posada Hotel, made the stay feel welcoming from the start. The atmosphere is beautiful, and my room was clean and comfortable. The staff pay close attention to the details and go out of their way to make sure your stay is good. Karina is amazing, and I'd highly recommend the hotel for a relaxing, memorable visit.

The staff were friendly and great, and the rooms were clean. It's an ideal spot if you're walking across the border, with Mexico only a few meters away. They also have a parking lot at a fair cost, which is useful if you need somewhere safe to leave your car while crossing.

Every time I stay there, I'm very pleased. I mentioned a mold issue in the shower to the housekeeping manager, and he brought bleach and soap right away so I could clean it. He also gave me a discount on the room.
