It was warm, the water was hot, and the old beds were okay. My son and I were in town for a hunting trip and booked two nights. The room was dirty, and the bedspreads looked about 30 years old. The caulking around the shower and sink had shrunk and been painted over. It was all right for us, but I wouldn't bring my wife and kids here. There was no coffee pot in the room, and I won't stay again.

The room was small and smelled like stale cigarette smoke, though maybe next time I'll get one that doesn't. I had to turn the hot water all the way up to get it warm enough for me. Still, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the front desk guy was very polite. He was also considerate about my service dog, which I really appreciated. There are places to eat and a gas station right nearby, and it's easy to get around on foot. I'll stay here again.

I stayed three nights, and it was a nightmare. The room smelled like cigarettes and other things, and the towels looked like ones I'd use to wash my car. The tub, toilet, and sink were filthy. The tub was clogged, with clumps of hair floating in the water. I asked the owners if they had anything for a clogged tub, but the owner said no and left it at that. When the AC came on, the noise drowned everything out. When it shut off, water poured from the vent. The curtains were filthy and hanging crooked, and none of the utility outlets worked. They gave me a power cord that looked like it was from 1920, with exposed wires. The toilet had such a thick ring inside that I nearly used a whole bottle of bleach to clean it. Check your receipts too, because they overcharged me by $78 once and $74 the second time. This place should be closed down. You won't get a third chance. The Health Department is headed your way, and I'll make sure of it!

The price made this a good stay for me, and the breakfast is included. The menu looks varied. My needs are simple: somewhere to sleep, freshen up in the morning, then move on. The managers are friendly, and the room had a few small blemishes that didn't affect our stay. The climate control worked well, the hot water was on demand, the firm bed suited me, and there was enough room. I'd come back if my travels bring me this way again.

I'm still here while my house gets finished, and it's been a great experience. The staff are friendly, and dogs are allowed, though not cats. I love that there's no carpet. There's a convenience store, restaurants, and a car wash nearby.
