Holiday Inn Express & Suites Las Cruces North by IHG

I slept so well, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good and everyone was friendly. I'd have given five stars, except when I asked for an extra blanket, they told me I had to go get it from the front desk. Most places bring one to the room, and usually there's a spare in the closet. Good thing I wasn't already in my pajamas.

The staff made the stay really pleasant. They welcomed me, helped me fill out the vehicle information after I realized I'd left my glasses in the car, and pointed out where everything was. Everyone was very kind.

Jake and the whole front desk team were wonderful, friendly, quick, professional, and genuinely helpful. I don't mind the construction, noise, mess, chemical smells, or even the broken elevator, but I wish housekeeping had shown some kindness. My daughter and I were alone with a lot of gear, and I was recovering from an injury that made walking and carrying things hard. When the elevator stopped working, she couldn't help. Near checkout I went out to explain to the housekeeper that loading out would take me a while, and asked how soon she actually needed the room. Despite the situation and the construction, she firmly told me I had to leave right then. I rushed as best I could. I was back on the top floor for an event about two hours later, and the room still hadn't been cleaned; there was no one from housekeeping around. It felt unkind and inhospitable.

The area was clean and comfortable for the Gold and Silver exchange I attended. I've never had a bad experience at any Holiday Inn.
