SureStay Hotel by Best Western Deer Park

Horrific experience, do not stay here. I called to ask about breakfast and the pool, and was told the swimming pool was open and breakfast was free. When we got there after driving over 200 miles, I wanted to cancel because I’d been lied to. The cancellation cost me one night’s stay. They called the cops on us, and the manager wouldn’t come talk to me about it. The hotel’s response to my review is a bold-faced lie. I know what I was told on the phone. Thanks to the Hamptons across the street, my weekend wasn’t a total loss. The people there were very nice, the atmosphere was awesome, and the pool was open. I recommend the Hamptons instead. Sure Stay 1401 center st. Deer Park, TX, please don’t waste your time here.

I stayed several days. The staff across management, housekeeping, kitchen, and front desk were professional, helpful, and patient. The facilities were very clean, though a bit run down. Breakfast was solid and consistent. They also have set days for cleaning, which was really nice.

Carol helped my elderly friend with a downstairs unit, and it made for a very nice stay. The hotel room was very, very clean, the pool sparkled, and the customer service was just as great. There weren’t any uncouth folks around either. Exceptional!

There are a few good restaurants nearby, and the pool area was nice and relaxing. My stay felt welcoming from the start. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and helpful, and I had some delightful conversations with them. The rooms were spacious and thoroughly cleaned. I had a very pleasant experience and would come back again.
