SpringHill Suites Las Cruces

The service and hospitality here were better than I’ve had at a hotel in years. I really appreciate how the staff made me feel during my stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was very nice. The front desk staff were courteous and helpful. I also got to meet the director of sales and the manager, who were both friendly and professional. They made me feel I’d chosen the right place with Springhill Suites. It’s in a great spot, right off the interstate and close to places I wanted to visit. Thank you!!!

The breakfast was disappointing too. Were the eggs powdered? The breakfast sandwiches were wet and soggy. I went back upstairs after eating, but the cleaner never brought the shampoo and conditioner. After days on the road, I’d been counting on a hot shower and washing my hair. Halfway through, I found both bottles completely empty. I tried calling downstairs to let the desk know, but the phone didn’t work. At the front desk, they said I’d have to wait two hours for the cleaners to arrive before I could get shampoo and conditioner. I ended up going to bed without a proper shower. When I arrived, there were intoxicated or tweaking people all around the area, so I parked as close to the main doorways as I could. I’m an elite member, and this was such a disappointing stay. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I booked through the Marriott App and still haven’t received my money back after four months. Customer support apologized and said several times that they would issue a refund, but it never came. The Marriott App has not refunded me either. At check-in I was given a room that didn’t have the specific amenities I’d booked. It was a mess, with water across the bathroom floor, no chair or desk, and it wasn’t clean. When I complained, they told me to come get towels and clean it myself. They wouldn’t move me to another room, so I checked out after five minutes and booked somewhere else. I feel they took my money. Don’t waste yours here.

The spot isn’t flashy or especially scenic, but it’s convenient, and it’s quiet at night. Local wineries, gas stations, the highway, and other important places are close by. The rooms are always clean, parking is simple, and the free breakfast is worth taking advantage of. I’ve seen the same people working at this SpringHill for over a year and a half, even in a high-turnover setting. They clearly care about how the place does, and you can feel that during your stay.
