Harrah’s Las Vegas – A Caesars Rewards Destination

The room was so dirty it needs a tremendous amount of improvement. There were leftover pubic hairs in the shower, a broken-off fingernail in the bathroom corner, and little hairs all over the sink and counters. The shower was gross, honestly. The laminate floor felt oddly sticky, maybe because of the cleaner, and my socks turned black after just a few minutes walking around. I had to stay a night because my flight was cancelled. The front desk staff were amazing, kind, and helpful. I liked the casino, though I didn’t get to try the dining.

I usually do pretty well at the tables and slots here, which definitely helps make the stay more fun. Harrah’s is right in the middle of the Strip, so you can walk almost anywhere without an Uber or hiking boots. The property itself feels a bit tired, though. Some parts show their age, the rooms are okay but not memorable, and the casino could use a refresh. Service is fine, but nothing special, and the overall feel doesn’t match the newer, shinier resorts nearby. It’s not the most glamorous place and could use upgrades, but the location is hard to beat. If the games go your way, it can still be a solid Vegas stay.

The concierge was attentive and helpful, so that part gets five stars. The room was a good size, and the bed was great. The ice machine nearby came in handy. The shower’s half door let water splash out, and the room could’ve been cleaner: there was no soap and the countertops looked dusty. It also didn’t smell fresh.

The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were the real highlight. I slept exceptionally well, maybe among my best nights in Las Vegas. I also liked having a wireless charging pad by the bed, and the Wi-Fi was solid. Two devices per room were included at no extra charge, a useful detail when you travel a lot. I work in tourism and bring groups to Las Vegas regularly, and though I’d passed Harrah’s many times, this was my first stay. Check-in was smooth and professional. I was on the 16th floor of the Valley Tower, where the room felt surprisingly spacious, helped by the high ceilings. It was a dependable, comfortable stay, and I’d consider coming back and recommending it as someone who visits Vegas often.
