Tru By Hilton Lathrop, CA

The staff are consistently helpful, kind, efficient, and caring. When I got a cut and texted for a band-aid, she brought me two. The complimentary breakfast matters to me, and there are several choices: fresh fruit, eggs, usually a protein, oatmeal, bread, pancakes, coffee, tea, and soft drinks, with other food available to buy too. I enjoyed the pool table in the common area, and I liked the 2-hour gym. The ice machine always works, the rooms are reliably clean, and the shower pressure is adequate with the soap dispensers kept full. It's conveniently located off the Interstate 5, near lots of shops and restaurants, including In-N-Out, McDonald's, Starbucks, Chipotle, and Target. Thankful for this Tru 🙏

The breakfast was disappointing, and the online listings still show bagels and donuts. We stayed three nights over a weekend; there were no donuts at all, and they even took down the donut signs inside the hotel while the Hilton.com website and hhonors app continued advertising them. The rest wasn't good either: soggy eggs and a novel yogurt dispenser whose yogurt didn't taste fresh.

The room was clean and a decent size for four people, and the bed was comfortable. We had a great staycation in Lathrop, with good food too. Skydive Cal is only 10 mins away, and both experiences were awesome. We'll definitely be back. Thank you so much!

The staff are friendly and attentive, and always ready to help. They take time to answer questions and make sure you feel looked after. Great customer service!
