The place could’ve been a solid 5 with a few basic fixes, but at this price the stay was a pain. The air felt very dry, and the thermostat showed the clean filter symbol. My boyfriend and I had nosebleeds during the first couple of days, and I left Florida with a sinus cold. There were no spare garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels, or cleaning products, so I had to shop for those basics. The kitchen reminded me of a male college dorm: six different-sized pots, but nothing oven-safe for cooking something from frozen. The coffee machine was broken. I found a bandage, a shard of glass, and an unidentified brown stain when I shifted the couch. Moving a mirror slightly turned up chewed gum on the floor. I messaged the guy a couple of times to ask whether we could get extra supplies and was ghosted. Fix the A/C filter, get a better cleaner, and stock the place more.

The beach is just a short walk away, and Lauderdale-by-the-Sea is a lovely, relaxed strip with larger stores and good restaurants nearby. We stayed for a month, and the apartment was spacious, comfortable, and practical, with room to cook and make ourselves at home instead of staying in a hotel. The Airbnb host was friendly and professional, and answered questions or handled requests right away. One letdown was the cleaning: even after paying a hundred dollars for it through Airbnb, the apartment wasn't very clean. Still, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a beach vacation with their own living setup.

We checked out very late and nobody gave us a hard time about it. We could also stay around all morning afterward and use the pool and other amenities, which made for a really relaxing finish to the trip. The rooms were excellent and the service even better. I'd recommend it.

This was meant to be a gift for our 25th wedding anniversary, but when I visited in March 2021, there was blood on the sheets and I had to clean the place myself. I brought new bedding for the bed. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, and as of now they still haven't even tried to give me a refund.

We stayed in Apartment 7. The place was getting crowded within two days, and the apartment wasn't maintained well. The floors were dusty, there weren't enough kitchen tools, and the bathroom window had no screen or fan. The location was okay.
