We paid for three nights for ten people, including kids, hoping to enjoy a weekend, and none of us were causing trouble. But security supervisor Erik went up to one of our children to ask whether we were staying in one of the beach tents. An adult asked what the issue was, and security told us to leave because we were trespassing. The jet ski people had started the problem, and security Ryan said we were fine to stay, but then Erik came along and acted tough, kicking us out. The reception guy was a bit rude too, though they seem to calm themselves when they know they’re being recorded. There were other people without hotel wristbands, while we had ours. If the issue was the canopies, why didn’t anyone from the hotel explain the rental rules? That’s on the hotel, but instead we got thrown out. I feel this was discrimination, since Erik was saying these things to us and not the others. I want my refund. Why keep our money when we didn’t receive what we paid for? You’re all money hungry. This was the worst experience ever. I’ll never come back or recommend the hotel to anyone.

We stayed three weeks with our dog and had no trouble with security at all. They were kind and respectful the whole time. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and every staff member we met was friendly. At under $40 a night, that’s a great deal in my book. I’ve seen complaints online, but I think some people expect too much at that price. It isn’t a luxury resort, and it doesn’t pretend to be. It’s an affordable, solid place to stay, with hard-to-beat value. I’d happily stay again.

We came with 22 people to celebrate my grandson’s high school graduation, and we had a great four days. The staff were friendly, our rooms were clean, Bumbleberry Flats had excellent food, and the private beach was perfect. I’ll definitely be back.

Everyone we dealt with was incredibly friendly, which is the one thing that saves this place for me. I wouldn’t stay again. I’d booked a pet room for a girls’ birthday trip because I planned to bring my dogs, then called Reservations a few days before arrival to switch to a non-pet room. I was told it was taken care of, but after check-in I found myself in a pet room anyway. It was dirty, outdated, and smelled of animals, and the front desk offered no fix when I called. The door didn’t close securely, the bed was uncomfortable, and I could hear everything outside. The room was cheap, but so are all the rooms at hotels in Laughlin, and I could have gotten better value elsewhere. There’s private beach access, but the beach isn’t maintained.
