Wyndham Garden Guam

The location is great, near restaurants and shops, and the hotel attendants were amazing. They gave great service and helped with some needs. There’s no breakfast; laundry and the gym are outside behind the hotel, and there’s a small, cute pool. I’d stay again. The bathroom lighting was the main issue for me. As a dark-skinned woman, I struggled to see while doing makeup or skincare, and the LED mirror lights were completely useless. The chairs had stains and hair from previous guests. The bed was hard, which I don’t understand since so many people complain about it, though I personally didn’t mind.

The staff were excellent and accommodating, and they switched me to a better room. The location is ideal, just minutes from the airport and downtown, and there are plenty of outlets by the bed for charging devices. The bathroom is small, with little room around the sink for toiletries, and the split-unit HVAC takes a while to cool the room.

Sara at the front desk was so helpful and great. The place was clean and well maintained, and I had a really good experience.

The beds are quite hard, though that’s really down to personal preference. If you ask the staff, they can get you a mattress topper, which helps a bit. I’ve stayed here for months for work and got to know the staff. They’re amazing and have gone above and beyond, including storing my luggage so I didn’t have to carry it around until I returned. The maintenance guy is friendly too and always quick to respond when you need something. I’ve stayed at a lot of work hotels, and these are among the best and friendliest people I’ve come across. Good place, great people.
