We booked a couple of nights at Suntan on a whim, having never been to the place or Casey Key. We had some extra time and immediately wished we'd planned a longer stay. The woman who took our last-minute call had us in a room within an hour. Carman, the maintenance guy, shared great tips and advice, and Alex, the young lady who seems to do a bit of everything, was welcoming. The beach and room were both great. As a musician, I carry luggage, guitars, and equipment, so I like to park close. My parking spot was about 20 steps from the room. We were in venice looking at homes because we're relocating there this fall, and found a gem we'll visit even after we move. Hopefully I can play some music for them on that beach. We keep coming back to Suntan Terrace year after year because it feels like our home away from home. The staff feel like family, and the place is friendly, beautiful, clean, and well organized. We love it.

The check-in was easy and felt a bit like Airbnb. They text you a room code, so arriving late isn't a worry, and parking is reserved. Our room was spacious, clean, and modern, with fun little touches throughout. Best of all, it's right on the beach. We loved staying here and are already making plans to come back!

Management leaves you alone, but will do what they can to make you comfortable. The other guests were very nice, and I felt comfortable there. The place was exceptionally clean and I loved it. The bed was a dream, I wish I could take it home. One thing, the kitchen had no oven or freezer for ice. The TV was ig.

The beachfront setting and lovely views are the best parts. The room is a bit small, and when there are a lot of guests, the pool and hot tub can feel crowded. The beach is nice for lying in the sun, but the strong waves and shells along the shore make swimming less appealing. 😊
