The one good thing we found was an amazing restaurant next door, with the best food we'd ever tasted. The hotel itself felt like kids had put it together while playing pretend. I think the room was 304. It wasn't clean, and the only thing that worked was the fridge's freezer. We asked housekeeping for a plunger. They were nice, but barely spoke English, so it took a while to explain. Once they understood, they didn't have one, so we had to go to Walmart and buy one or be left without a bathroom. The vending machines were completely empty, so bring your own snacks and drinks or go to the restaurant. Bring your own pillows too. The cases were barely filled with cotton, and there weren't enough for everyone. My balled-up hoodie was more comfortable and supportive. The “comforters” were basically window curtains draped over us as blankets.

We stayed in room 212 and found mold in the bathroom, roaches, and gross floors that left our feet black. It was disgusting. When I got home, I couldn't find my camera card reader, so I called to ask if anyone had found it. The man I spoke to said they had no lost and found, and that the room hadn't been cleaned. We checked out the day before. If that was true, no wonder there were roaches.

The price was far too high for the condition of this hotel. I've stayed in plenty of places that cost the same or less and had lots of upgrades, with a much better stay. Here, the room smelled like a dead body was living in it. The bed was small, lumpy, and uncomfortable, and the microwave door was broken.

The location is handy if you want to stay near the malls and plazas, but that's about the only good thing. I'd stayed here a few times last year, and during my last visit I left my laptop charger behind. I drove an hour away, then turned around and came back to ask for it. They said they couldn't find it, even though I'd seen them cleaning my room as I drove past. I know I left it there, so I guess it was my fault for trusting this place. I'm still looking for the charger.

Don't come here expecting breakfast. It was advertised as included continental breakfast, but there wasn't even milk, and the only bread they put out was dipped in sugar syrup. Who wants that at 7 AM? The breakfast they promised simply wasn't there.
