Kings Inn Motel

The price was fair, and we’d stay here again. Breakfast was a little sparse and some things could use improvement, which is why I’m giving it four stars. We were traveling with family to Philadelphia and booked King’s Inn for one night because it was the nearest budget motel with a decent Booking.com rating. The place is a bit old, but nothing caused us trouble during our stay. The staff were really friendly and attentive, and our room was clean. I don’t really get all the bad Google reviews.

The room was really comfortable, and breakfast was great. The staff were so helpful, especially one person who helped me out in a few different situations. He was amazing. Thanks for everything, I really appreciate your help! 🙏

There’s potential here, and at first the room seemed okay and smelled nice. But I found the toilet dirty before settling in and told the attendant. He said he’d clean it, but never did. Then, overnight, a roach crawled over me. The headboard was filthy, too, and there was a cigarette burn on my quilt. I

The breakfast was good, and I had a really nice stay over the last couple of days. I’m leaving tomorrow, but I’d come back if I’m in the area again. My room was clean and had a pleasant lemony smell. Everyone was kind and seemed to work incredibly hard. The housekeepers checked whether I needed anything, and when I asked for something, they brought it within minutes, sometimes seconds. I’d see them working whenever I went outside. The manager seemed hardworking too, helping out around the place from what I saw. There was a young housekeeper who reminded me of my daughter, who passed away last October. She made my day, and I smiled at her. I wish I’d asked her name. I think it started with a C, but my eyesight isn’t great these days. She was polite, as was the older man. People had such good manners, saying things like “yes ma’am,” “have a great rest of your day,” and “we’ll be with you in just a second.” The guys at the front, the manager, and the boss were all very nice and hardworking too. I really don’t understand the bad reviews. For me, this was a 100/100 stay. If I could give it 100 stars, I would. If you’re in Pennsylvania and need a hotel, this is definitely a place to consider.
