The room was really clean, and the bathroom was huge. Breakfast was good too. I liked having a restaurant and a Sheetz within walking distance. The pool was being worked on while we were there, which was a shame, though the area looked nice. I don't fuss much over hotels since the experiences are what matter most on a trip, and this one worked out great.

Breakfast the next morning and checking out were probably the only good parts. The lobby had Fox News on when we arrived, which was disappointing, and the whole hotel smelled strongly of cigarette smoke even though I thought it was smoke-free. Our room's AC rattled like a broken ice machine. I usually find Best Westerns a good value, so we stopped here on our trip expecting that.

It suited what I needed, and the location made the price worthwhile. It's pet friendly, too. Just be aware it's an old, dated hotel. I remember the braddock inn being a busy place when I was growing up. I'm 53 now, so I think it may be older than I am, lol.

The parking setup was awful. Someone blocked the drive so we couldn't get through, and when I told the front desk, they acted like they didn't care. The person behind us then chewed us out over the blockage. There was also a drug smell in the hallway. On top of that, there's no insulation between rooms, so we heard noise late at night and early in the morning. Never staying there again.

The rooms were clean, and the staff made sure I had what I needed and could enjoy my stay.
