I wasn't expecting a five-star hotel, but this stay was a letdown. I couldn't get a hair dryer because my room had none and the front desk didn't have one to lend. They also couldn't give me an extra pillow since they said they were all in use. The bed was so uncomfortable I barely slept. There were stains on the walls and fingerprints on the lamps, and I wouldn't walk barefoot in the room. The shower pressure was very low. For the price, I expected more.

Sandy at the desk was amazing and went out of her way to make us comfortable. The hotel itself is old, smells like an ashtray, and needs updating, but it's affordable. The floors in the room are bad, so bring a tart warmer or candle and some old slippers. The beds were comfy and the sheets clean. You get what you pay for.

I would never stay here again, even if my life depended on it. People were hanging around the property and in the lobby, including a company minor, and the place felt like a bad neighborhood with a lot of suspicious activity. I booked two rooms for my company, and both were disgusting. In my room 110, there was what looked like black mold all over the bathroom walls. The front desk attendant said it wasn't mold and that it had been treated with spray until they could take care of it. The bathroom floor was sticky, the tub looked unclean, and it seemed like the whole bathroom had been missed. On the wall outside the bathroom was what might have been feces or blood, and there were other areas so disgusting I couldn't identify what was on them. There was blood or something on the curtains, stains on the bed, and filthy bedspreads and bedding. The carpet was so gross I kept my shoes on. Metal bars stuck out of the bed and cut my leg when I got up. The first-floor window had no lock. The clerk apologized and had to get me a wooden stick to secure it. The door also felt unsafe, like someone could just get in. A young girl who couldn't have been more than 13 asked if she could hang out in my room. The TV remote was missing its back and was sticky. The furniture looked unclean, the microwave was disgusting, and the refrigerator smelled awful. Something also felt like it was crawling on me and made me itch, maybe fleas or something. The guys from my company in room 215 said it looked like a crime had happened, with blood all over the bed, mattress, and walls. Their room was much like mine. The front desk moved them to a third-floor smoking room, even though they'd originally been put in a non-smoking room. That room was even worse, but they had no choice but to take it. Breakfast was horrendous. The food storage area looked bad, and in the morning people had their animals on the tables where guests eat and put food. When I brought all this up as I checked out, the front desk clerk apologized and said she was refunding us, without my having to ask. I think they know how bad the place is. I would have left for another hotel, but everywhere else was booked. We stayed one night and would never come back. This place needs a complete remodel, new owners and management, and everything else replaced. In my opinion, it should be shut down or condemned.

The room and even the bed smelled like urine. I'll never stay here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The manager seemed lazy and hopeless, while charging a high rate for a room that sucked. If it were my property, I wouldn't hire a manager who was too lazy to keep the rooms clean. Even the linens didn't seem sanitized. Hopeless.

You get what you pay for, though even the discounted price felt too high for this very low-end hotel. There was no breakfast, despite my coming down 30 minutes before service was scheduled to end. The pillows and towels were substandard, and the soap was maybe the smallest hotel bar I've ever seen. I used to travel 280 days a year for work. Buyer beware. I'll remember that next time.
