Tru By Hilton Lawrenceville Atlanta I-85 Sugarloaf

I've stayed here three times, and each visit has been just as pleasant. The customer service is excellent, the rooms are clean, parking is ample, and breakfast is decent, with a coffee station. The location is quiet, though the walls are thin enough that you can hear conversations from neighboring rooms. It's a great stay overall, and I'll be back in a few weeks. See ya soon :-) For some reason I could only leave the five stars and not a written review, so I'm adding it here.

This was our second stay at this property, and the staff were great again. We stayed two nights over the weekend. Our room was great, and the entry, reception, and lounge areas were clean and comfortable. We needed a room where no dog or cat had slept, and they were very accommodating. We left at 4:30 am yesterday, so having a fresh cup of coffee before hitting the road was definitely worth mentioning.

I booked two nights at the government rate, but an emergency meant I had to leave after one. The front desk told me I'd only be charged for the night I stayed, yet I was charged for both. Whether it was a special rate or not, people shouldn't pay for nights they don't use. The hotel wasn't sold out, and my early departure caused no inconvenience. My job requires flexibility, since plans can change. I wouldn't recommend this hotel because they couldn't be flexible when mine changed.

We stayed here while visiting Atlanta. The traffic around the hotel and Atlanta gets really busy, so give yourself lots of time to get anywhere, at any time of day or evening. The staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast had plenty to choose from: pancakes, cereal, pastries, juices, coffee, tea, yogurt, eggs, sausage, and fruit. Ask for the free guest water bottles with cheese or PB crackers, since they don't offer them. If you can, choose an even-numbered room facing the back and parking lot. Odd-numbered rooms face a loud I-85 a few streets away. We slept better once we turned on the room's AC/heat fan. The exercise room is small but efficient. Most parking is at the side and back, so you have to walk around to the front lobby. The front spots are only for charging vehicles and handicap parking. We'd stay again if needed.
