Knights Inn Lawton

There were cockroaches all over the place, and when my friend, who has a mental disability, forgot our room number, they called the cops on us. Castle inn? Knights inn? More like trashtle inn.

We paid online for two nights and had the confirmation and email receipts, but the clerk still turned us away at the door. No refund, either.

The bed was comfortable and clean, the water pressure was great, and the coffee was good. The room itself smelled musty, though, so I had to buy spray. The toilet was clogged and nobody came to fix it. I’d reserved a smoking king and gave them my arrival time, which they approved, but they’d given the room away. Breakfast was gone by 7 because nothing had been restocked, and other guests were unhappy about it too. The place needs some TLC.

The photos online looked nothing like what we got. The first room was dirty and smelled awful, so I tried to politely ask for another one nearer the outside parking. The replacement was even worse, with a bar holding up the roof. There was trash everywhere, cigarette ashes on the tables, hair and stains on the sheets, and I couldn't tell if the sheets were clean. We’d been checked in for barely 30 minutes when we asked to leave and get at least half our money back. They said no, so we left and ate the cost. The place was run down, and the customer service was rude and unhelpful.
