Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Lebanon by IHG

The ice machine on our floor was out, so we had to use one on another floor. That wasn't a big deal by itself, but along with everything else it added up. It took more than 10 minutes to get warm water, even with the nozzle turned all the way to scalding hot. A family upstairs let their child run back and forth in the room until about 10:30 last night. I know that isn't the hotel's fault. I've been an IHG member since 2919, and we use them to book rooms for work. This is one of the first Holiday Inn Expresses I've stayed at that I would never return to. I'll definitely pass this information along.

We spent a week here on a work trip, and the room felt very dated. The cushions had stains, the shower fixtures were coming apart, and our room didn't have a microwave. Breakfast was the bare minimum. This was well below what we've come to expect from IHG. Honestly, I wish we'd paid a little more and stayed at the Hampton. They need to redo the whole place or build a new one.

The rooms were clean and fresh, and the staff made the stay. Everyone was kind, confident, and welcoming. Kara, the cook, was especially delightful and charming. They made the experience surprisingly good. The lights were unbelievably dim, so please get new bulbs and lampshades. Aside from that, the staff made it a great stay.

The front desk staff were amazing, but the room was another story. There was mold in the tub, the rug was filthy, and the sheets didn't smell clean. My pillow smelled like greasy hair, and one pillowcase had a clump of hair in it. Please clean the rugs and use more bleach when washing the sheets. There wasn't any hand soap either. I shouldn't have to use the shower body wash to wash my hands at the sink.
