Doug and Jim knew the area well and were fun to talk with. The inn is in a great spot for local attractions, and the living room by the fireplace feels warm and welcoming. Breakfasts were delicious, and our room was lovely and spotless, with thoughtful details throughout the room and inn. We'd been here before and were delighted to return for a weekend with another couple. We had a wonderful stay from beginning to end, and can't say enough good things about Devinfield Inn. Highly recommend it.

We were on a girls' trip for my sister's birthday and spent a 3-night, 4-day weekend at Devonfield Carriage House. Doug and Jim made every moment feel warm and welcoming, with a real sense of connection. Jim's food was spectacular, and Doug's hospitality was just as memorable. We stayed in two of the four beautiful cottages, The Burke's Landing and The Crown Jewel, both sophisticated and comfortable. The main house is a work of art, with every room booked during our stay, which speaks to its beauty and character. The experience exceeded my already high expectations. Rating is a 10!

Doug and Jim were gracious, kind hosts, and we enjoyed the excellent food and the complimentary wine and cheese gatherings in the main living room. The Inn is full of lovely antique furnishings and has a romantic feel. The property is beautiful, with walking trails to enjoy. It was our first stay, and we had a beautiful experience. We plan to return and are looking forward to another visit.

Doug and Jim greeted us with real warmth and kindness, while also giving us space and privacy. The staff were exceptional, and breakfast was delicious and relaxing. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay at Devonfield Inn, and I highly recommend it. Thank you for making our getaway special. I hope to come back.

Saturday's 1.5-hour happy hour was a highlight. We had wine and cheese, sang songs, and got to meet other guests at the B&B. Jim also made us amazing chocolate-covered strawberries, and his phenomenal breakfast is every bit as good as other reviews say. We stayed in the cozy John Lloyd room with a fireplace, which made the trip feel special. It was my girlfriend's and my first trip together as a couple, and it couldn't have gone better. The location, décor, accommodations, and hospitality were all world-class. There's a reason Devonfield Inn has a perfect score across over 400 reviews, and Doug and Jim are a big part of it. What an incredible way to start 2026 and this new relationship. Thank you, Doug and Jim!
