Lakehouse Inn

We’re grateful for the care here and will keep coming back. My husband and I have stayed at the Lakehouse Inn in both fall and winter, and the location is beautiful in either season. The rooms are lovely, with high-quality amenities, comfortable bedding, attention to detail, and everything fully stocked. Breakfast is something to look forward to, and the service comes with kindness, thoughtful care, and genuine interaction. Once, they called just minutes after we’d left to tell us we’d forgotten items in the room, then offered to mail them home.

The kayaks and paddle boards were in great condition, and using them was casual, first come, first served. Loved the laid-back feel. The staff were super friendly, there were delicious treats throughout the stay, and breakfast was awesome. Loved my stay at the Lakehouse Inn.

The room had a big comfy bed and thoughtful extras, including a towel warmer, rain-head walk-in shower, mini coffee maker, mini fridge, and electric fireplace. It felt cozy, and I’d recommend the private third floor for its stunning lake view. We loved little touches like the bottle of wine in the room and breakfast in the morning. We were lucky to get a big snowfall, which made the scenery even more magical. The staff went above and beyond for my gluten-free needs and gave us plenty of good restaurant suggestions. We’ll definitely come back in the warmer months ❤️ The attached photos show nearby towns, the Norman Rockwell museum, Mass MoCa art museum, and lights at Edith Wharton Mount.

We had a beautiful, immaculate room and an incredible view of Laurel Lake. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Kurt the owner, Lorie the manager, and the whole staff were kind and caring. The Lakehouse Inn is terrific. If you’re planning a trip to the Berkshires, do yourself a favor and stay here. You’ll be glad you did!
