Quality Inn Lee - Lenox South

We spent three nights here. The breakfast offered a decent variety, including cereal, a waffle maker, and breakfast sandwiches, though there were only four tables in the dining area. Parking was free and there seemed to be a decent number of spaces. The highway is nearby, with Dunkin and Starbucks close by too. Our room was clean but on the small side, and there were stains at the back of the fridge. The walls are thin, so we heard hallway noise and the neighbors. We were toward the back, but traffic from the busy main road was still audible. There’s no elevator, and we had a second-floor room. On our second day, housekeeping hadn’t cleaned our room by the time we returned in the afternoon. They’d taken care of all the checkout rooms first, which didn’t make sense to me.

We wouldn’t stay here again. The only reassuring thing was that there were no bedbugs when we checked, and the beds have mattress protectors for them. The room itself was dirty, with dirt across the floor and old black hairs on the bathroom floor, especially under the sink. The bedding was stained too. The whole place felt grubby, and the walls were so thin we heard every step from the people above us. Breakfast was extremely basic, just continental.

We had a hard time finding a hotel along the highway before reaching Lee, where this place felt like an oasis. The room was nice, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was lovely. It was well priced too.

Good value and a clean room, with no vermin. The bed looked a bit messy, and the pillows were terrible. The top cover was dirty, though the mattress was comfortable. Breakfast was okay. Not a bad stay.
