The rooms at Herrold on Hill were beautiful, and the hosts paid attention to what we needed. Breakfast was ready when I came downstairs. It was healthy and delicious. I enjoyed my stay and would love to stay there again if I end up in Wabash.

Don't skip the screened porch. Sit with a cold drink, feel the breeze, and listen to the trains as you think about days gone by. Alan & Sandy go out of their way to make guests feel at home in their beautiful 18th-century house. You can choose any of the lovely rooms, then relax in the parlor or living room to read, watch TV, or visit. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully laid out at the time we chose. We stayed three nights in May 2014 and left feeling that our hosts were now friends. Can't wait to return.

The house is breathtaking, and both the breakfast and the hosts were wonderful. My daughter would give it five stars. I would too, except I couldn't sleep because of the train and the rock-hard bed.

Herrold on Hill is right near the center of everything, including Honeywell Center, Downtown, Dr. James Ford Historical Home, and the library. The home itself is beautiful, and the proprietors were gracious, caring, and accommodating. My experience there was fantastic, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Wabash.

I booked this place for a guest who was training at Journey Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy, and the staff took great care of them. The rooms were clean and extremely nice, and the on-site team is the best. I'll use it for all my future guests.
