The Ponds at Foxhollow

If you'll be out most of the time, The Ponds is a comfortable enough place to stay, especially if you need room to spread out without paying a fortune for a nicer hotel. It's quiet and kid friendly, with an indoor pool, tennis courts, and what looks like a small playground in the main building. The condos have a proper living room and dining space, a fully stocked kitchen, and a washer and dryer. The beds are comfy, though the appliances and bathroom are dated. Getting to Lee takes about 7 minutes, and High Lawn Farm is only 3 minutes away. It's an average option that gets the job done, as long as you keep your expectations in check.

We had a two bedroom unit with a layout that worked well for a group. One bedroom was downstairs along with the kitchen, dining area, bathroom, and living room. Upstairs there was a second bedroom, another bathroom, and a smaller living room. It could easily sleep 8 adults, with a king bed, a queen bed, and two pull out couches. The unit was clean. Some of the furniture was worn, but still quite functional. Since it was cool out, we got to use the fireplace, which was neat.

The grounds were once lovely, and the location is great, with easy access to Tanglewood and good dining. It's a quiet, pleasant place, and the suites are big, clean, comfortable, spacious, and well set up. But things feel outdated, and the ponds and nearby lawn are kind of teaming with goose poop. The Jacuzzi tub had high walls, wasn't inviting to use, and didn't drain very well. There isn't much in the way of service, though we didn't really need much.

The area is peaceful and quiet, and the grounds are well kept. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The place is quite dated, as other reviews mention, but it was perfectly adequate. We'd definitely stay again.
