The Red Door B&B

We plan to come back, which says a lot about our stay at Red Door B&B. My wife and I had the Spring Room, which was clean and comfortable, and Susan and Al were friendly, considerate, and accommodating. We could walk to Main Street restaurants, and the location made it easy to get to the Norman Rockwell Museum, Tanglewood, Mt. Greylock, and a couple of craft breweries during our full weekend. It was the best B&B experience we've had in years.

We were in town for a wedding and our 5 year anniversary, and Susan and Al made the stay even better than we'd expected. They were pleasant, helpful, and accommodating, with solid recommendations for the area. Breakfast was delicious, with omelettes, farm fresh fruit, blue berry pancakes, bacon, and sausage. We'll definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the Berkshires. Brittany 6/19

We were never more than seven miles from the places we wanted to visit, from Edith Wharton's home and the Norman Rockwell Museum to kayaking on Stockbridge Bowl and hiking The Ledges Trail in Pleasant Valley Sanctuary. Chez Nous was just down the street for dinner. Back at The Red Door Inn, Sue and Al were wonderful hosts, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was beautiful, and conversation never ran dry. Perfect.

We picked this place for two nights of light hiking and a BSO concert at Tanglewood, and it suited us perfectly. Lee's downtown was an easy walk for dinner on the night we arrived, and the hosts gave us useful tips for getting to and from Tanglewood and finding local hikes. They were incredibly nice and had clearly put care into setting the place up for guests. Our room was clean and nicely furnished, with small toiletries and a nice bathroom. It was very quiet at night, so we slept well. Breakfast was lovely, and they were considerate of food allergies. I'll absolutely stay here again next time I go to Tanglewood, and highly recommend it.
