The Beach Club at Anna Maria by RVA

The kids had a great time in the pool, and having the beach so close made the week even better. The beach chairs were there for us to use, too. Our room was clean and comfortable during our spring break stay.

The view was nice, and there’s beach access across the street. I liked the pool and hot tub, but the kitchen was missing basics like forks and a spatula. The bedroom blinds were broken, and you can hear a lot through the very thin ceilings.

Michael and the staff are wonderful, and the location is just right. We’re already looking at booking again and hope to keep coming back every year. If we can swing it, we’d visit twice a year, for fall break and spring break.

We had a great time and are already planning another stay. The room felt like a one-bedroom apartment, with a washer and dryer and almost everything we needed, including cookware and utensils. They also supplied beach chairs, an umbrella, and towels. The pool is clean and well kept, though the beach is right across the street. A trolley runs up and down the island, so you can leave the car parked. A couple of small hassles: we booked through the property and got a digital-key link that was supposed to tell us when the room was ready, but they don’t use digital keys, and check-in at the desk has to happen before 5 pm. The dishwasher soap dispenser also didn’t work. Neither issue was a deal breaker. The terrace has great sunset views, but its outdoor furniture is in pretty rough shape and could use an update. My wife and I would definitely stay here again, and we recommend it.
