The homemade blueberry muffins were a favorite, and the coffee was strong enough to get our day started right. The Ostrich room was open our first night, with a local band, tasty cocktails and mocktails, and a bartender who knew their stuff. We also had a great chat with the owner’s husband, Toph. My roommate and I stayed two nights in late September. The property is stunning in person, even more than the pictures suggest. Abby greeted us at check-in (sorry if I spelled that wrong) and made us feel so welcome. She had lots of suggestions for things to do nearby. She was iconic, shoutout to Abby. Our room had that old New England charm, a great mountain view in the lodge, a hot shower, and a very comfortable bed. We’ll be back, and I’d recommend it to anyone after an authentic Berkshires experience.

I understand the food and entertainment are very good, but I stayed Sunday through Tuesday, when the restaurant and entertainment weren't available. There are many acres to wander, a lovely main room with a roaring fireplace, and an outdoor veranda with a fire pit. Absolutely wonderful.

The food was great and the live music was amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room listing on booking.com was inaccurate, which could have caused a real problem, but Abby sorted it out quickly and expertly to our satisfaction.

I usually choose modern hotels, but this inn's charm and connection to Lenox’s history won me over. The rooms are spacious and cozy, with comfortable beds and soft, crisp sheets. I was traveling with my sister, a friend, and her cousin, so I saw several rooms, and each was lovely. You can walk to Tanglewood in just a few minutes, which was a big plus. Breakfast was simple and really good, with muffins, homemade jam, fruit, yogurt, and a coffee and tea bar stocked throughout the day. There were muffins listed twice, but either way, breakfast was a treat. Great choice if you want a charming, easy, relaxing stay.

The staff were kind and attentive, and I felt relaxed and cared for on both visits. I first stayed at The Apple Tree Inn in May, enjoyed it so much that I booked another trip for July, and the warm atmosphere and comfortable rooms made both stays special. The homemade muffins were amazing. I’m already looking forward to going back.
