Anthony Feola made the stay especially easy, handling things smoothly in person and by text. He went above and beyond, even helping make restaurant reservations happen. My picky daughter is a vegetarian, and it’s not easy or quick to satisfy her, but we both felt looked after throughout. Doctor Sax House is right downtown in Lenox, so shops and restaurants are an easy walk. Inside, it balances classic Berkshires charm with a modern, stylish feel. There are fires, eye catching wallpaper, an edgy bar, and welcoming common spaces that feel inviting any time. Our room was comfortable and meticulously clean, with chic Brooks Brothers' fleece throws and thoughtful details. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and efficient. A lovely place with a first rate staff. Can’t wait to return.

Breakfast each morning was a highlight, with a la carte choices that were delicious and higher quality than you usually expect. In the afternoons, Sam made expertly crafted cocktails, and the inn provided a lovely hors d’oeuvres plate. The location is right in the heart of Lenox, with shops, restaurants, and town close by on foot. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together, combining classic charm with modern sophistication and all the amenities we needed. The atmosphere was peaceful, relaxing, and refined, with care apparent throughout the property. Anthony, the manager, welcomed us warmly, and the whole staff kept up that genuine attentiveness. We felt like the only guests there. We left refreshed and are already looking forward to coming back. Outstanding from arrival to departure, and highly recommended for a Berkshires getaway.

Dr. Sax House has a modern, sexy design and a vibe unlike anywhere else we’ve stayed in the Berkshires. We didn’t want to leave, especially after getting a personalized text offering late checkout the next morning, which we happily took. I’d planned the trip as a surprise birthday getaway, and Anthony and the team made it unforgettable. There was champagne, a personal birthday note, and a slice of cake waiting in our room. Anthony made sure everything was perfect from the moment we arrived, and everyone we met was kind, warm, and genuinely welcoming. We can’t wait to come back. Thanks to Anthony and the whole Dr. Sax House team for making the celebration so special.

The team is professional and attentive while still feeling naturally welcoming, so the whole stay feels seamless and elevated. What a stunning place for a girls weekend. Our cozy, clean, comfortable room was lovely, and drinks and appetizers at the bar were great. Dinner at the intimate restaurant was delicious. Wren handled check in, and Anthony gave us directions for walking around town. A must visit establishment!
