We all fit comfortably under one roof at The Kemble, and from pulling up to our last steps down the porch, we were smiling. The town is a short walk away, with shops, dining, and a friendly atmosphere for everyone in our party. It made for a lovely early morning outing. The house has a digital lock at the front door, so getting in was easy. Inside, there's a beautiful foyer with a wraparound staircase and mountain views, a giant dining room, a comfortable sitting room, a wet bar, a well-equipped kitchen, and plenty of outdoor seating. The covered back porch lets you enjoy the view whatever the weather. Each room is distinct and nicely updated. I'd definitely recommend this venue for an event with a large family.

Our granddaughter's wedding was held at this beautiful old mansion, with the ceremony in the back garden. When the rain came, we moved inside for pictures and food, and there was also a big tent outdoors for bad weather. The staircase was magnificent, and everything was first class. The atmosphere was wonderful and the rooms quaint. Highly recommend.

I felt so at home here that I had no desire to leave, and the staff treated me like family. My room was gorgeous and very comfortable. Both breakfast and dinner on the terrace were scrumptious. This is my go-to hotel in The Berkshires!

I was the on-site lighting tech for a wedding in a big tent on the back lawn, not a guest, so I can't comment on the rooms or service. The location is superb, with amazing views. The staff members I interacted with were professional and friendly.

Our wedding guests couldn't stop talking about how legendary The Kemble was as a venue. We rented the property for a weekend to hold a small wedding for 50 people, and had an absolutely amazing time. It was the wedding “of the season” for us! The Kemble is now available as a rental property and no longer functions as an inn. About five different groups of strangers walked right into the house, apparently thinking it was still a public inn. Please don't arrive unannounced. Guests should keep the doors locked.
