The only trouble was that the wifi wouldn't reach our room. We were at the end of the hall and couldn't get a signal past the door before ours. Contractors staying there also let their doors slam early in the morning. Otherwise, the renovations look nice and the inside feels bright and clean. Our room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and everyone at the front desk was welcoming and kind. Breakfast was fresh, well stocked, and good. I'd stay again.

Pete, the manager, was a big part of why I liked our stay. He was kind and helpful, and made sure my wife and I had everything we needed before heading to the room. It was very clean, with a fridge and microwave, and the new beds were comfortable. I got a full workout in the next morning on the treadmill and other equipment in the fitness center. I was impressed, and encourage anyone visiting Portland, Tx who needs a place to stay to choose this one. Ask for Pete! God bless.

Comfort inn & suites Portland Texas is my go-to whenever I visit Portland. The rooms are always super clean, and the staff are great. Housekeeping is friendly, the front desk is ready to help with a smile, and the GM is amazing. The location is very convenient, with Walmart, Academy, and HEB just a couple of minutes away by car. Parking is good too. Corpus is just across the bridge, and Port Aransas is a quick 15-minute drive to the ferry. The new renovations look amazing, and it's very family friendly. Great breakfast too. I highly recommend it and hope to be back soon.

Pete, the new general manager, checked me into a room that suited my needs exceptionally well, and made sure my wife and kids were comfortable too. With the new management and reconstruction finished, the hotel has gotten a whole lot better. The rooms are spacious, and the rooms, floors, and beds are clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The facility is beautiful and well sanitized. We enjoyed a much-needed quiet, peaceful stay, with great service and a decent breakfast. The weight room has new equipment. We couldn't use the pool because it was freezing in the cold weather, though it was well kept, clean, and looked inviting anyway. We can't wait to come back soon, and strongly recommend it for any occasion.

The beds were so comfortable I joked about taking one home, and the rooms were spacious and spotless. Everyone was welcoming and the service was great. I loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone coming to Portland. Thanks, Comfort Inn, for making the visit such a good one.
