Hilton Garden Inn Dallas Lewisville

The rooms were spacious and really clean, and the recent renovations look great. They even had that new-room smell, which was nice to come back to after a full day of volleyball games. The staff were the best part for me, so sweet and friendly. I hope they know how much they added to our stay. We really enjoyed being here and would stay again.

The property is nice, the room was clean, and staff brought extra linens promptly. But breakfast was a letdown. The buffet eggs, bacon, and potatoes were cold, the tea water wasn't hot, the orange juice had color but hardly any flavor, and the pastries were nearly stale. Waffles and omelets cost extra. At $15 per person, or $5 for a small pastry a la carte, I'd eat elsewhere or stay somewhere with hot waffles included. Maybe this is a post-COVID amenities issue, but breakfast has gone downhill. The bar also closes on weekends, and housekeeping only comes every other day. Would I stay again? Probably not. It depends what matters most to you.

We were happy with the location for our short visit, and the sixth floor had already been renovated. Our room looked beautiful and updated, was extremely clean, and the housekeeping team clearly takes pride in their work. The hotel was still under renovation when we arrived, but employees told us the work hours and apologized for possible noise. That didn't concern me much since this sort of thing happens now and then. I really liked the artwork in the room and searched around for a company that sells it, but haven't found one yet. The visit was great, and we plan to return once the work is finished. I hope management passes along our thanks to the staff. I'm still crossing my fingers I'll figure out who made that picture.

I was staying at the hotel for an event that ran long, and the front desk kindly let me check out late. That made packing up and heading home much easier. I love all the Hilton properties.
