The blankets had dog and human hair on them, and when we pulled them back there were visible black specks and what looked like small blood spots. I immediately worried about bedbugs. We were already arriving late because of flight delays, and it was around 10:15 pm, 32 degrees or colder. We tried the emergency number, but nobody answered and the voicemail was full, so we left for a hotel. It was nearly 11 by then. I didn't inspect the rest of the bed, just grabbed our things quickly because we didn't want to bring bedbugs with us. I took pictures of a six-inch square area on one bed. After checking in elsewhere, I messaged through the VRBO app to explain why we'd left and that we'd also tried calling. They replied almost right away, offering to move us to another RV. They also tried calling, but my DND was on because it was so late, and we'd already checked in at the hotel. I told them we'd had enough of the RVs and wanted a refund. The owner refused after we disputed it through VRBO, but our credit card company did approve a chargeback.

The location was phenomenal, with charming Downtown Williams, Bearizona just across the street, and beautiful Flagstaff only a 30-minute drive away. Service was great, and we liked having a fire pit, chairs, and a picnic table outside. The RV itself was nice and mostly clean, but the long black hairs in the sheets really grossed me out. My 7-year-old and I shared a bed with lots of dark hairs that weren't ours. That ruined the stay for me.

We had a bonfire and really enjoyed our time at this RV park. The RV was super clean, and the staff guy was very nice and helpful. They also have propane BBQs. This was a great find, and we'll come back again and again.

The receptionist was helpful during office hours, and checking in was straightforward. Still, the unit wasn't as advertised, and for over $200 Canadian a night, around $120 USD, on Easter weekend, we would have been better off at a Super8. I grew up glamping in an RV from the 80s, and this place was a long way from that. The listing showed comforters and plush pillows, but we got very thin pillows, about a quarter inch thick, thin fleece blankets, and a terrible mattress. There was mouse poop in the drawers, too. The setting was between two gas stations, with a highway in the distance, unlike the photos. Wi-Fi was nonexistent, even though our roaming phones had steady 5G and other places around town had reliable Wi-Fi. Maybe I wouldn't have minded as much at a quarter of the price, but this was far from glamping.

One of your employees, an older white guy, came to my door demanding money for a dog fee and threatening to call the cops to escort me off campus. I'd already paid for my RV. Less than ten minutes earlier, I'd texted him because I couldn't find the payment request and wanted to pay right away. I thought he was knocking to help, but he wouldn't show me where to pay. You need to check your cameras. Don't stay here.
