The front desk staff were really nice and helpful. There was a problem with the room I’d booked, but they moved me to an upgraded one at no extra charge. The furnishings in the new room were very nice overall, and the bed and towels were soft. You could see they’d put care into the other furniture too. The lodge is well located in Williams. For a small town, it stands out from chain and average hotels and offers great value. I’d rate it a solid 4 star hotel compared with most. There were downsides. The breakfast was average, and the kitchenette had a sink, microwave, mid sized refrigerator, and coffee machine, but nothing else. Since I was there a few days, I had to buy plastic plates, cups, and forks. The old building has thin walls or maybe one noisy neighbor, and the floors were noisy too. It also lacks the usual extras you’d find at 4+ star hotels: no pool, gym, laundry (I think), vending, or concierge. Parking is free, and there’s a hangout area in the middle of the parking lot.

We’ve stayed here before, and the rooms, decor, and service have been consistent. This time we came for one night on New year eve and got an upgrade for our anniversary. The place is cute and right in town, so you can walk anywhere. It feels much cozier and more unique than a chain motel. There’s no pool and it isn’t pet friendly. The Continental breakfast was a pass, but you can walk down the street to Pine County Inn for a delicious breakfast. Definitely recommend.

We were happy with our choice and would definitely recommend staying here. After reading the reviews, we picked The Lodge on Route 66 from all the lodging options in Williams. The photos looked okay, and the website said it had been renovated, so we booked a 2 queen room. Outside, the place looked very well cared for. A friendly employee had our reservation ready right away, check-in was quick, and she surprised us by letting us know we’d been upgraded. The suite was spacious and very clean, with extra seating, two TVs, a separate bedroom, a large bathroom with separate double sinks, and a cute, useful kitchenette. For a continental breakfast, there were lots of choices, and there were outdoor tables too.

The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was fine, and breakfast was decent, a solid 6.5. The room could use some improvement, though. Its thermostat didn’t work right and kept running even after it reached the temperature we wanted. Still, it was a good experience.

Our clerk was so sweet and made the stay the best. Everything at The Lodge on Route 66 went smoothly, from booking the room right through checkout. The rooms were clean, beautiful, comfortable, and felt like home. They include free breakfast, which was great, really over the top. WOW, there are no words for the experience. We’ll definitely come back and stay here again. This is our stay place. Thank you!
