The beds were extremely comfortable, and our room at one end of the hotel was quiet and a good size. We’d asked to be away from the elevators, and the staff accommodated us. Joseph greeted us in the evening, helped us out, and gave us a couple of breakfast coupons. There’s a plaza behind the hotel with several good restaurants that are easy to reach. A shuttle runs within a two-mile radius, but the NJ Transit bus to New York is the best affordable, comfortable option. They keep the schedules at the front desk. A wonderful stay.

The bus into NYC is about 100 yards from the front door, costs $8.50 round trip, and gets there quickly even in rush hour. There’s oversized parking available very close by. The hotel itself was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with lots of good food and entertainment a short walk away. A great base for exploring New York.

For a New York trip, this is a great place to stay. Route 320 stops right beside the hotel and goes straight to Port Authority terminal in downtown NYC in about 20 minutes. The facility is nice and clean, the room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. NYC hotels can be cramped, noisy, and overpriced, so this was a good option.

The rooms were clean and spacious, and we chose the hotel for its location. My husband had booked by phone and agreed to an added breakfast charge. But in the morning, the elevator wasn’t working, so we had to call the front desk to send someone to get us. Then, when we went to breakfast, we were told we couldn’t eat. It was embarrassing with other guests watching. At the desk, a woman explained they’d only charged for the cheapest breakfast, which meant our toddler could eat but not the rest of us. We’d never been told that. I said I’d always understood breakfast charges to cover everyone in the room, and she answered arrogantly that this was their policy. Of course the hotel can set its own policies, but it’s disrespectful and tricky not to explain them clearly to customers. Nobody apologized. I’ll never visit again.
