The kids loved the loft, and the cabin had a fun tiny-home feel. It’s in a great spot and was excellent value for a family with little kids. My boy’s into the movie "Cars," and there’s a "Tow'Mater" here. Williams has good food and a cool vibe. The pool was being maintained, which was a bummer, but it was still a great value.
We’d happily stay at this RV park again. Our pull-through site was spacious and easy to get into and out of, and the prices were very reasonable. Williams and the Grand Canyon are convenient from here, with a straight shot to the South Rim, about 60 mi away. Meteor Crater and walnut Canyon are within about an hour and a half, and we loved both walnut Canyon and the Grand Canyon. The staff provided good customer service. There were also cute cabins and railroad cars converted into cabins. We didn’t go inside, but they looked charming from the outside.
We stayed in caboose #2, which was charming, neat, and in a good location. But the bed was so uncomfortable that we both woke up stiff and slept badly. The pool was closed, and there was no mention of that online. I shared my feedback with the front desk, and they didn’t seem to care whether guests were comfortable. The owners seem cheap. They need to invest in new beds. If you can’t sleep comfortably, there’s no point in booking here. Updated to 1 star. Do not stay here!
The price is hard to beat, and we had a really nice, calm, relaxing stay. The receptionist in the office was so accommodating and helped us settle into our room warmly. Our daughters, 14 and 17, can be picky, but they loved the bunk beds and rustic feel. I enjoyed hearing them laugh while my husband and I sat in the front part of the caboose, looking at the original signs. I’d researched online but somehow thought the caboose/railcar didn’t have a shower or tub. It does. I’d packed towels because I thought we’d get to use the bath house as an extra treat, ha. I loved the experience this park offered and would like to visit again.
This was the cheaper nearby option, and it did serve its purpose. If you just need somewhere to stop for a night, it would do. We stayed in the RV Park, not one of the rooms, and now we know why it cost less. The grounds seemed run down and poorly maintained. Trash was all over, the bins overflowed and animals got into them, and I never saw anyone clean up the mess. I didn’t see staff around the grounds for maintenance or security either, though once I saw a van delivering towels to some rooms. Our spot had a small water leak that left a constant puddle and stream of water. The view from our site was of other RVs parked for storage, though that may have been because our RV is 43' and needs a larger space. If we came back, I’d request a different spot. They advertised an indoor pool. It was there, but closed for the season. I thought an indoor pool could be used year-round, and my grandson was disappointed. My son used the laundry room, where the washing machine was dirty and smelled very musty and moldy. Yuck.
