After paying in person with my physical debit card, I got a bank text the following week about an Amazon payment plan through Affirm. I only use that card for emergencies and transfers, and this was the only place I'd used it physically, so I believe the charge was false. I canceled the cards and ordered replacements, but someone tried three times to set up new Affirm payment plans using the canceled card. Check your statements if you've stayed here, and turn on purchase alerts by text or email. They helped me catch three accounts' worth of payments. The card reader was on the attendant's side instead of the customer's. I had booked a room during the last ice storm. Be careful with this location.

The corner room made good use of its space and felt cool, but the bed was the worst I've ever slept on, worse than the floor in my first apartment when I couldn't afford furniture. There were crusty patches on the sheets when we arrived, too. The night was miserable, and we all woke hours early with so much back pain.

For a couple of days in Dallas, I wanted cheap lodging, and Motel 6 covered the basics. The floors had a hardwood look, which I prefer to carpet, and the room was simple and tidy. The bed was reasonably comfortable, the AC worked well in the Texas heat, and I could bring my dog. Check-in and checkout were quick, and the desk staff were polite and efficient. Parking was free, and cameras and regular patrols helped the motel feel secure. It's no luxury stay, but it's a clean, convenient budget option for solo travelers, road trips, or passing through. Bring your own toiletries if you like particular brands, and don't expect breakfast or fancy amenities. For the price, I have no complaints and would consider staying again.

I've stayed here three times, and getting any rest has been impossible. From 8 in the morning, people start knocking on doors, and you can hear it throughout the rooms. It's really irritating when you're trying to sleep. I've been to six other hotels, and none were like this. Instead of relaxing, I leave in a bad mood because of the noise.
