A short walk from the center of downtown and just off Main street, the Abigail Inn is in a great spot. It’s historic, quaint, clean, and comfortable. The family who runs it are attentive and make you feel welcome. A perfect base for events at W&L or VMI.

We’ve stayed here twice now and recommend it for a lovely historical Lexington visit. It’s right downtown and feels like a home away from home. The owners are friendly and attentive. The place checks all five of my Cs: cute, cozy, comfortable, clean, and convenient. We absolutely love it.

The breakfast was fantastic, and our room was really comfortable. It’s also a great spot for walking to restaurants and trails. My husband and I had a lovely stay, highly recommend it.

I had a made-to-order omelet, served personally by the host, and the coffee in the room was a thoughtful touch. The rooms are presidential-inspired, with bathrooms roomy enough for a small entourage. A lovely, quiet stay in a place with a thoughtful, history-rich feel. I’d highly recommend Abigail Inn.

The owners were so welcoming and attentive, and we really appreciated their hospitality. The room was sparkling clean, the bed was very comfortable, and I especially liked the good-quality towels and bedding. Downtown is only a nice seven-minute walk away. We’ll definitely be back.
