Josh was a great help with the easy check-in, and Jose was wonderful helping me with breakfast and check-out. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot, and the towels soft. Great value, and I had a wonderful stay. Thanks!

I got in late, around 11pm, without a reservation, and the nice young man at the desk got me set up for the night right away. My stay was very comfortable. The room had a huge walk-in shower, microwave, mini fridge, and coffee pot, with hot water and was clean. There were a few wall scuffs, maybe from moving furniture or the housekeeping cart, but no bad smoke smell or other odors. If you need it, there's laundry on site. It's right off I75 in Lexington's best shopping area. If you're after a clean place to sleep and grab breakfast, and don't want to worry about your vehicle being messed with or panhandlers begging, check this place out. I'm nitpicking, but bring your own toilet paper.

The staff made this last minute hockey tournament stay a great experience for the kids. They cleared the meeting room for the team, and there was a sitting area nearby where parents could gather all weekend. After one game, we walked in and the front desk person threw up their hands and shouted, "I heard we won the game!" The Sleep Inn is dated and the rooms have some imperfections, but it was as clean as could be expected for its age, and better than we'd expected. Breakfast was good. It's hard to find customer service this good from the whole staff, and we appreciate it more than they know.

I booked through a third party and checked in very late on a Saturday, but was charged quite a bit more than the standard rate listed online. I found out that booking at the front desk would've cost about 25-30 dollars more than the third party rate. I don't think the hotel is worth even the weekday price being advertised, and it certainly wasn't worth what I paid for Saturday night. I think hotels should set a standard price instead of raising rates for certain days or special dates. Unless the rates and cleanliness improve, this was my first and last stay here. I just wanted somewhere clean and reasonably priced to sleep, so I wouldn't have to drive alone late at night. The Sleep Inn had a 7.7 rating on one site, and years ago my mom and I had really enjoyed a different Sleep Inn in KY. This one didn't come close. The hotel looks old and dated, with a color scheme from the 1970's and carpet that looked dirty. I wish I'd brought house shoes; I didn't want to put my tennis shoes back on with my pajamas, but I also didn't want to walk barefoot on the carpet. Towels on the bathroom floor covered most of it, since the bathroom was tiny, with just a commode and walk-in shower. I tripped twice getting in and out because the shower door, when thrown open, blocked the bathroom entrance. The bedroom felt cramped and uninviting, and the bed pillows were about the size of throw pillows. There were some good things. The Bible in the nightstand drawer reminded me how motels used to be, though these days you can't count on one being there. The staff were nice and tried to help, and check-in and check-out were easy once I got the room booked. The location was convenient, though I didn't feel especially safe right at the hotel. I parked out front because I worried someone might break into my car out back. The next day someone told me cameras cover the building. Knowing that the night before would've made me feel somewhat safer. Breakfast had lots of options, including yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, and cereal, but my eggs and waffles didn't taste good, and the sugar-free syrup was gooey.

Compared with the Sleep Inn in Charleston, which was amazing, this was the worst hotel I've stayed in. There was a strong marijuana smell coming down the hall and into our room. The back door stayed propped open 24 hours a day because the key card reader was broken, and homeless people were walking around the parking lot. My husband had to get our key cards reprogrammed at least four times. The room smelled bad, had dirty stained carpet, and dirty towels. Mold covered the bathroom ceiling and was inside the shower door. Gnats kept flying around and trying to get up my nose, keeping me awake all night. The chair and bed were broken. They said they'd come fix the bed, but nobody showed up, so I slept in the middle to avoid falling off the edge. The air conditioning didn't work in the lobby or dining area. I rated service a 1 because they never came to repair the bed, though the check-in man and the woman at checkout were both very friendly. I posted pictures of the mold. Do not stay here.
