The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the place was much cleaner than I expected. The rooms are dated and due for an update, but everything worked in mine, and I saw no sign of bedbugs or roaches. For a budget stay where you mainly need a clean place to sleep and a kind welcome at check-in, it’s good value. Just don’t expect Hampton Inn or Marriott. It lands somewhere in the middle.

Do not stay here. I found blood on a pillow and far too many bedbugs. I wish I could post the videos so people could see that I’m not exaggerating. When I went to report it, nobody was at the front desk. This place is awful and shouldn’t be open.

The room was filthy, with stains on the bedding and poop on the toilet seat. The manager brushed it off and wasn’t helpful, saying it wasn’t too bad. Awful place. And unless fast food is all you’re after, don’t stop in sketchy Lexington NE.

Bugs were crawling all over the bed, and there were stains everywhere. The room also had a nasty smell that got worse when the AC was on. When I brought up the bugs, the desk staff acted astonished. They denied my refund request and wouldn’t offer any discount. The desk was often unattended, and when I called, they answered, “Yeah, I’m coming,” then hung up. I’d have been better off in a tent. Avoid this dump.

We only stayed about five hours after a storm started brewing, so we got off the road for the night on our way back to Wisconsin from Albuquerque. The room was very outdated, the bed was uncomfortable, and it wasn’t especially clean. Having a smoking room was a plus, though. Those are hard to find these days.
