Tru by Hilton Lexington, VA

Sherry Clarke, Ryan, Michelle ( the manager), Ken and Julio all went out of their way to help me during the snow and ice storm. My vehicle wouldn't start in the freezing weather, and the whole team helped me get everything done. That hospitality made this a five-star stay for me. I was there for business at Tru by Hilton Lexington, Virginia from January 24th - January 27th, 2026. The hotel was clean and well kept, with excellent amenities and a delicious breakfast. I highly recommend it.

The lobby has a living room feel, a pool table, and Paw Patrol on the TVs, so it seems like a fun place for families with young kids. Breakfast was good, better than at similar hotels, and guests seemed to use the fitness room. For our one-night stop on a long drive, the beds and pillows were fine, the shower was nice, and the towels were good. I didn't care for the scent of the soap and lotions, though they were filled. A good stop along the way.

Our wedding group ended up staying here, though we were only in town for one night. Ginger at the front desk was awesome and really helpful when we checked in. The hotel was clean, nice, and felt safe. It was our first time at a Tru Hotel, and we had a five-star experience. We'd come back to this one and look for Tru hotels when we travel.

Lexington's a pleasant little city, with places like Pronto and Shenandoah Attic for coffee and shopping. We liked the pool, and the Tru was a pleasant place to stay. But a few times we went to the front desk and nobody came, even with people waiting there with luggage to check in. That isn't right.
