Best Western Premier Liberty Inn & Suites

We left a bag with a Nintendo switch and my wallet in the room, and the staff called quickly to return them. Thank you again for being so honest. The pool was heated, the warmest I've ever swum in, and the slide was a lot of fun. There were no towels at the pool, though, and I wish the pool hours were longer, maybe 6am to 11pm with an adults-only hour from 10 to 11. Check-in was quick and easy, the hotel smelled clean, and we liked the fireplaces at the entrance and outdoor seating area. Our huge suite had clean beds, fluffy pillows, a nice bathroom, and plenty of parking. The bar area, snack bar options, and lobby fruit water were nice too. Breakfast could use more choices, though the items they had were good. A few spots in the room needed more cleaning, and the furniture could use a good cleaning. The tub could use another handle to make getting in and out safer. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The front desk woman who checked me in was very nice, and breakfast was pretty good. But I wouldn't recommend this BW location. I'm a Diamond Select Rewards member with Best Western, and I know BWs can be hit or miss, though usually the rates reflect the room or hotel. While passing through Liberty, MO on a personal trip in December 2025, I chose this premier tier hotel and whirlpool room for just under $200, hoping for a nicer BW. The common areas were clean, but our room was abysmal and nowhere near worth the price. The whirlpool area was still very wet when we arrived, enough that I could have squeegeed off quite a bit of water. We had to use our own fan to dry it. The whirlpool fixture was loose and broken. The shower handle was broken too, and the glass door was uneven and slammed shut on its own, breaking the wall tile. There were lots of cracked or poorly grouted spots, stained furniture, an electrical box sticking up from the floor, and trim peeling off the wall. Previous repairs looked so poor that I couldn't trust them, and they were ugly to look at. I told the manager about the repairs and that the room wasn't worth the price. She brushed it off with “thank you, hun” and sent me away. The pros just don't make up for the problems.

I've been living in the out-of-service rooms for 12 years, rent free. The views are excellent, and the pool works great for my morning shower, even if the water sometimes looks discolored after my bath. The food I get from the kitchen is infested with bugs, but still very yummy! The front desk makes it hard to get fresh towels from the laundry room, but luckily I know about the unlocked side door by the kitchen. I was deeply disheartened when Jeff, their maintenance man, invaded my privacy by asking what I was doing in an out-of-service room. Horrible service. Too many Jeffs! All in all, 8.5/10 stars for living here rent free.

We stopped here for one night during a road trip on I-35. Our king suite was comfortable, and the location made it easy to get on and off the highway. The staff were nice, and breakfast had the usual options at a reasonable price. For a BW Premier property, I'd say it's more like a well-run BW Plus. I'd readily stay here again.
