The atmosphere was quiet and cozy, and for the price, it works. Getting to the highway is easy when there's no nearby construction. The beds weren't especially comfortable, though nothing beats my own bed, and these will do.

The hotel is near the airport and has a free shuttle, though it's about 25 minutes from the heart of the city. My stay was good overall: the rooms were in good shape, the pool was clean, and the weight room was fine for light exercise. Staff were kind and dealt well with an unruly guest who was terrorizing other guests and employees. The weekend kitchen team could use a refresher in customer service and keeping the breakfast buffet clean. They weren't around much, and when she did appear, she poured a large bag of eggs into the warmer. Sometimes the eggs are beaten in the back, out of guests' sight.

A good spot for a quick night before a flight or a somewhat longer stay. The rooms are clean and the guest service staff are kind. The complimentary airport shuttle has a great driver, and I suggest tipping them. Breakfast starts later, but they set out simple things like cereal, bagels, and yogurt early for travelers leaving in the morning.

Everyone I dealt with was so friendly and helpful, from check-in and the manager who fixed the TV to the breakfast server. The clean room, hot breakfast, and laundry room that worked perfectly all helped make this one of the best hotels I've stayed in. I slept for 10 hours straight, which I can't remember doing before, because the bed was that comfortable. Wish I could take it with me! The huge shower was a nice extra, and I was able to relax and recharge.
