The rooms were clean and the pillows were comfortable, but we had a bad stay. We booked ahead, then got charged an extra $145 when we arrived. After we sorted that out, the woman at check-in said we could come to the lobby for a Band-Aid if the pool started cutting our feet. Three out of four of our kids ended up with bleeding feet from the “new pool.” Handing out Band-Aids that come off in the water while people have open wounds is disgusting. They should just close the pool. My son also sliced his foot open on the door while leaving the pool room. The one bright spot was the woman who checked us in, she had a great personality.

Everything felt new and super clean, even though the place is a year old. It was quiet, the staff were good people, and I slept like a baby. Breakfast was about what I’ve had at other Home2Suites. The key card door lock was the fastest I’ve seen. There’s a big parking lot and EV hookups, and the place has everything.

We came to the H2S in Lima for a quick weekend away. It’s conveniently right off the interstate, near the iconic Kewpee and what I think is the best pizza in Lima Oh, at Westgate Entertainment Ctr. The place was very clean, and the staff did a terrific job making sure we enjoyed our stay. We’ll come back if we’re in the area again.

Our suite was so comfortable, I only wish we’d stayed longer than one night. It was spacious and had a thoughtfully equipped kitchenette with dishes, a microwave, sink, fridge/freezer, and the little tools you might need for a quick meal. The hotel was brand new, clean, and well kept. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of delicious choices, including healthier options, all laid out nicely. I’d return in a heartbeat when I’m in the area.
